As she worked to promote writing, Cassie also continued pursing music and performing.  She shared her compositions and covers at local churches and coffeehouses in addition to performing at the Minnesota State Fair and participating in various talent competitions.  In 2008, Cassie recorded a compact disc containing nine original compositions and three covers at a local studio and offered the project for purchase at her concerts and events. In 2011, Cassie released her third book, The Promise, and correlated the release of the novel with a song single and video of the same name.  The book and single brought together Cassie's three loves: music, writing, and ministry.
